After saving the world through His own blood, Jesus doesn’t fade into history. Instead, the Bible presents Him as the reigning King and ultimate Judge. He is not just the Lamb who was slain — He is the Lion of Judah, coming again to rule and to judge. His return will not be as a humble servant, but as the King of kings and Lord of lords.

👑 Jesus – The King of Glory and Judge of All Nations
Psalm 24:7–10 (KJV):
“Lift up your heads… and the King of glory shall come in… Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty… The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.”
Psalm 24 describes a royal procession — the glorious return of the Lord into His eternal throne. The New Testament reveals that this King of Glory is Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:8:
“…they crucified the Lord of glory.”
⚖️ Jesus – The Righteous Judge
2 Timothy 4:1 (KJV):
“The Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.”
Judgment is not given to a lesser being — it belongs to God alone (Genesis 18:25). Yet the Bible says that Jesus will judge all people:
- John 5:22: “The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.”
- Acts 10:42: “It is He [Jesus] who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.”
Only God can judge all hearts. And that authority is given to Jesus, because Jesus is God.
🌍 All Nations Will Bow to Him
Matthew 25:31–32 (KJV):
“When the Son of man shall come in his glory… before him shall be gathered all nations…”
- Jesus will sit on the throne of His glory.
- All nations will be gathered before Him.
- He will separate the sheep from the goats — determining eternal destinies.
This is the final courtroom of eternity, and Jesus sits as Judge. This is not the role of a prophet — it’s the role of the Almighty God.
💥 He Will Return in Power and Great Glory
Revelation 19:16 (KJV):
“KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
Jesus is not coming back as a carpenter from Nazareth — He’s coming as Commander of Heaven’s armies. The world will see His majesty and power, and every knee shall bow (Philippians 2:10–11).
📖 Supporting Scriptures
- Isaiah 33:22 – “The Lord is our judge… king… he will save us.”
- Revelation 22:12–13 – “I come quickly… to give every man according to his work.”
- John 5:27 – The Father “has given Him [Jesus] authority to execute judgment.”
💡 Conclusion
Jesus, who once came to save, will soon return to reign and judge. The King of Glory who entered Jerusalem on a donkey will come again on the clouds of heaven. His name is Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, and He will judge the world in righteousness.
This truth drives us to worship Him — not as a religious figure — but as the eternal Lord of Glory and final Judge of every soul.
